Performance against annual force targets

In 2007 the Police Authority and Devon and Cornwall Police embarked on a plan to improve the policing service received by local people. Since that time we have worked closely together to convert these plans for change into action and much has been achieved over the past four years. The Force area of Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly is now the third safest place to live in the country. Crime is falling across the counties, whilst victim satisfaction and the number of people who tell us we are doing a good or excellent job continues to rise.

The Police Authority has set the Force targets for 2011/12 that build on its achievements since 2007 and that support the shared pledge by the Authority and Devon and Cornwall Police to become a top performing police force.
