Antisocial behaviour

What is antisocial behaviour?

antisocial behaviour is down by 13,190 incidents

Antisocial behaviour includes a wide range of unacceptable activities such as vandalism, graffiti, speeding, littering, dog fouling, nuisance neighbours and intimidating groups taking over public spaces.

We know that antisocial behaviour can ruin lives and create an environment where more serious crime can take hold.

What we are doing

We work together with your local council and social landlords to deal with anti-social behaviour problems.

In the last year we have reduced antisocial behaviour by 13,190 incidents across Devon and Cornwall.

You told us that rowdy and nuisance behaviour was a problem and last year we reduced reports of rowdy and nuisance behaviour by 12, 462 incidents (April 2009- March 2010 compared to April 2008- March 2009).

Where you have told us that speeding is a problem outside schools, we are working with school children and local councils to set up school speedwatch schemes, to help reduce speeding.
