Top tips to be safe when driving

  • Check your car's petrol, oil and tyres on a regular basis, especially before long journeys.
  • Plan your journey in advance and take a good map with you, so you don’t have to ask for directions from strangers.
  • Always take note of where you have left your car, making sure it is locked securely and parked in a well-lit area.
  • Always have your car keys to hand when returning to your car, so you can get in without a lot of fuss.
