Working for the police is unlike any other job. The nature of police work means it requires a flexible, dedicated and skilled support network to run effectively and our police staff are vital to the day-to-day running of the Force.

We are one of the largest employers in the South West with over 2,000 members of police staff working in a wide range of roles across Devon and Cornwall. Occupations such as, scenes of crime officers, call handlers, analysts, traffic wardens, station enquiry officers, secretaries, IT consultants, project managers and mechanics are just a few of the different jobs undertaken.
