Serious RTC Torbay Road, Torquay

At about 1019 pm on Friday 9th March 2012 Police were called to a serious RTC outside the Waters Edge Hotel, Torbay Road, Torquay.  Initial reports indicate that a Silver Toyota Celica car collided with two  male pedestrians, which resulted in both pedestrians sustaining serious head injuries.
The two casualties were taken by ambulance to Torbay Hospital where they a receiving treatment for serious injuries. Police accident investigators attended the scene of the collision and Torbay Road was closed while police officers dealt with  initial accident investigation. Enquiries are continuing to establish the cause of the collision.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to this RTC to phone 101,  quoting log 867 09/03/12
