A358 closed Axminster

Traffic has been disrupted in Axminster after a lorry damaged a power cable.

The incident happened at about 9.50 a.m. on Friday 9 November 2012 on the A358 near to Hill View Farm. It appears that a lorry has collided with an electricity pole and as a result another vehicle has been damaged.

The road is likely to be closed until 5.30 p.m. whilst Western Power deal with the cables and the Highways Agency have set up diversions around the scene.
