Update: Fatal road collision, St Mabyn

Police have issued a further appeal for information regarding this collision.
In particular, officers are anxious to trace the driver of a gold-coloured Peugeot hatchback (possibly a 207 or 208) which may have been in the St Mabyn area at around 1000 hours on Sunday, 11 November (Remembrance Sunday).
The driver is urged to come forward to the Police on 101, quoting reference 0335 of 111112 as it is believed that he/she may have information relevant to the enquiry.

John PHILLIPS- Following a tragic accident John sadly passed away on 11th November 2012. He was a devoted husband and father and a beloved son to May Phillips. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends and all the committees and organisations that he devoted his time to. We are very proud of all John achieved in such a short time. Thank you for all the many cards, flowers, support and love that the family have received since the tragic event. Funeral arrangements to follow.

The deceased was a 50-year-old local man.
The landrover was towing a trailer at the time of the incident and was travelling towards Longstone.
The cyclist was travelling in the opposite direction with two other cyclists.
Fatal Road Traffic Collision appeal – St Mabyn
Police have made a further appeal for information following a fatal road traffic collision in St Mabyn.
The collision took place at around 1005 hours on Sunday, 11 November 20112 on an unclassified road between St Mabyn and Longstone, near Bodmin.
The collision involved a Landrover and a cyclist. Tragically the cyclist died at the scene from the injuries sustained in the collision.
Officers are anxious to trace the driver of a gold-coloured Peugeot hatchback which may have been in the St Mabyn area at around 1000 hours on Sunday, 11 November.
They urge the driver to come forward as they believe that he/she may have information relevant to the enquiry.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Police on 1010, quoting reference 0335 of 11/11/12.
