Serious Hit and Run Temple

Officers are appealing for help to trace a heavy goods vehicles involved in a serious injury road traffic collision which left a 42 year-old Launceston man with serious head and leg injuries.
Emergency services were called to the A30 at Temple just before 8.00 p.m. on Tuesday 12 February 2013 where paramedics and members of the public had been treating the casualty. It appears that the man was walking from Bodmin towards Launceston when he was struck from behind by the lorry.
The collision left a significant amount of debris at the scene.
Investigators from the Serious Collision Unit are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the events leading up to it.
