Man sought following assault, Exeter

Police in Exeter are appealing for information to locate a man they wish to speak to in connection with a serious assault.

Officers are seeking to trace Simon Cole, 43, of Exeter in connection with an assault on a 45-year-old woman who sustained serious back injuries.

The incident took place just after midnight on Friday, 15 February 2013 at an address in Whipton Barton.

Simon Cole is described as being around 5ft 9in tall and with short brown hair. It is believed he may be wearing hunting-style clothes.

Police ask that if anyone sees this man or may know his current whereabouts to contact them immediately on 101 or Crimestoppers in confidence on 0800 555 111, quoting reference DE/13/1442.
