Individuals and businesses wishing to buy and store explosives are required by law to meet national safety regulations.

If you wish to acquire or store explosives, you must apply to The Explosives Licensing Team, based at police headquarters in Exeter, for the correct permissions.

If you have lost or found an explosive, you need to contact the police on 101 or 999 in an emergency.
