Website consultation
Great? Brilliant? What are your views on the Devon & Cornwall Police website?
Consultation and research
We are in the middle of a programme of consultation and research.
Students from St Loyes college in Exeter very kindly gave up some of their time to test our sites. The designers used the forms listed below and watched and took notes while the students answered the questions and completed the tasks.
400 plus members of the public have completed the online survey, the results of which are being examined and will be published on the web blog. Thank you to all those who took part.
Many of the Local policing team officers have been consulted and their responses to a questionnaire have already been published on the blog.
A staff questionnaire is being written and will be going out in May 2012.
If you'd like to let us know what you think then please complete the message for the web digital media form.
We would love to hear about the things you like/dislike, how you access the site, where and for what reason. Tell us how the site could work better for you and if you have any ideas for new features you’d like to see. If you use assistive technology like Jaws, Zoom Reader or Super Nova please let us know if you have any problems using our site. We will review all your comments with a view to including them in a specification document which we will publish here and on the blog when completed. (Please note we do not have a huge budget and will be using our in-house skills.)
As the consultation progresses we would like to attach details and jpegs of designs for your thoughts and opinion. Further down the line we would also like to include links to mini test sites and even possibly a beta site for you to try and break!
Thank you for taking an interest and please do let us know how this site and those listed below perform for you.
