PDFs and reading them
To view a document in Adobe PDF format, you may first need to download a free copy of the Adobe Acrobat reader.
Adobe reader X can convert the PDF back to a word document. Open the document in the reader and from the top page view menu select the document images with a yellow swish arrow, as illustrated in the diagram.
Web browser compatibility
This website has been designed, developed and tested on as many computers and web browsers as possible to ensure it reaches the potential audience. We have also asked various members of our organisation and the public to test the site for its usability. The ethos behind the development has been simplicity and accessability. We hope to have produced a 'clean' site with good navigation.
Accessibility
The Devon & Cornwall Police take accessibility very seriously. It is our aim to ensure the services offered on this site can be used by anybody, regardless of disabilities / impairment or geographical location. This website has been designed to fully comply with the Web Content Guidelines for Accessibility, published by the W3C.
We have included options to make the text bigger or smaller and for the colours of the site to be changed. We have also enabled a text-only version of this site. To access these accessibility features please use the triple A icon at the top of this page.
If you still have difficulty using this site please email the web team and we will do whatever we can to remove the obstacles that are preventing you accessing the information that you require.
Report a broken link
Whilst we ensure that links are tested before they are made available online we would appreciate your help in bringing any broken links to our attention. The best way to report an error or technical fault is to email the web team, and upon receipt of the information, we will ensure the fault is amended as quickly as we are able.
Please note: We are not responsible for links or content on external website(s).
