Advice for retailers
'Your Licence, Your Responsibilities' booklet
We work in partnership with retailers throughout Devon and Cornwall to assist them in meeting their obligations under the Licensing Act 2003. This includes all retailers of alcohol, providers of regulated entertainment and providers of late night refreshment.
Your licence, your responsibilities
All licensed premises should have access to a copy of our advice booklet 'Your licence, your responsibilities'. This booklet outlines your legal responsibilities and provides practical advice to assist you in running your business responsibly. Please select this link to view an online version of the booklet.
Up-to-date information on banned individuals
All premises licensed for the retail sale of alcohol for consumption on the premises have access to our secure online information portal, where photographs can be viewed of individuals in your area that have been excluded from premises by way of both court and civil bans.
If you do not have access to this site, please contact your local police licensing team.
