NRG-1, NRG1, Energy-1, Energy1 and Rave is now an illegal drug

Naphyrone has been banned and made an illegal substance from Friday 23rd July 2010. 

The so called ‘legal high’ which is sold online, often as research chemicals, plant food, bath crystals or pond cleaner, is now classified as a Class B Drug. 

Anyone found in possession of this substance could be prosecuted and face up to five years in prison. The maximum sentence for dealing naphyrone, will be 14 years, alongside an unlimited fine. 

Naphyrone, is also known as NRG-1, NRG1, Energy-1, Energy1 and Rave.
