Equality Information
The Force Equality monitoring information.
Equality Duty
The public sector Equality Duty requires public bodies to consider all individuals when carrying out their day-to-day work. They should have due regard to the need to eliminate discrimination, advance equality of opportunity, and foster good relations between different people when carrying out their activities.
Public bodies are required to publish relevant information to show compliance with the Equality Duty and must set Equality Objectives. Further information about the equality information that we have published and the steps we are taking to develop and improve the information we collect is available here .
Devon and Cornwall Police are committed to improving the services it provides to all communities. Over the past four years the Force has worked with Independent Advisory Groups to develop a quarterly Equality Monitoring Report. The links below are to the report and other equality information that we collect.
