About

Our procurement department spends in excess of £50 million per year supporting operational and front line policing. This figure equates to nearly 25% of Devon and Cornwall Police's overall annual budget. As a public sector organisation we have to adhere to European procurement regulations.

The procurement department are involved in a variety of strategic projects, on national, regional and collaborative levels. The department aims to deliver a consolidated service, providing policy advice, guidance and operational support at all times.

We have a team of professionally qualified staff who in turn offer a wealth of both public and private sector experience. Individual members are responsible for the preparation of tenders, terms and conditions negotiation, contract drafting and thereafter, the management of contracts once they have been awarded and implemented.
