Serious collision, A38 Landrake
Three people remain in hospital
Police were called at about 3.10pm on Saturday 18 November following reports of a multiple vehicle collision on the A38 near Landrake.
The three vehicles involved were a Volkswagen Golf, a Volkswagen Passat and a Citroen C4 Picasso.
All three occupants of the Golf were taken to Derriford Hospital one with minor injuries. The male driver and a female passenger have sustained serious injuries and they remain in hospital for ongoing treatment.
The Passat contained two adults and two children. The adults were taken to Derriford Hospital, the male driver of the car remains in hospital in a serious condition; the others have since been released following treatment.
The two children were checked over by paramedics at the scene and released without requiring hospital treatment.
The Citroen contained two adults and three children all of whom were checked at the scene by paramedics. One adult was treated at Derriford Hospital for minor injuries and the other four persons were checked over by paramedics at the scene before being released without requiring hospital treatment.
Police are appealing for anyone who has any dashcam footage, or who saw a blue VW Golf driving between Dobwalls and Landrake during the afternoon, to contact them
