Nominations invited for the annual Force Volunteer Awards

Devon & Cornwall Police are looking for nominations for this year’s Volunteer Awards to recognise the outstanding commitment and achievements from volunteers in our communities.

The awards will take place in June and nominations can be for individuals, teams and groups who volunteer in any way within their community.

Award categories include: Community Spirit award; Young Volunteer of the Year award and the Police & Crime Commissioner’s team award.  For more information about the criteria for each award visit: dcdhub.org/awards

The closing date for nominations is Sunday 24 March 2019.

Successful nominees will be invited to receive their award at a ceremony at St. Mellion International Resort, Saltash on Tuesday 4 June 2019.

Emma Webber, Citizens in Policing Senior Coordinator from Devon and Cornwall Police said:  “Our annual award ceremony allows us to recognise and honour the amazing contributions by those in our communities and therefore welcome nominations for volunteers who deserve special recognition.
