14-year-old girl left with facial injuries

Police are appealing to the public to help them identify a driver who left a girl with facial injuries following a hit and run.

On Sunday 12 November at approximately 8pm, a 14-year-old girl was struck by a car on Wolseley Road, Plymouth.

The incident took place on the outbound carriageway between Milehouse Roundabout and Wolseley Road shops.

The driver stopped for a brief moment before driving away from the scene without leaving any details.

Unfortunately, the child has received substantial injuries to her face and has lost and broken several of her teeth.

Any information that could lead to the identification of the driver and/or vehicle involved would be gratefully received.
