Concern for man - Bude

Summerleaze Beach, Bude

At approximately 6:20pm on Wednesday 28 October Devon and Cornwall Police were called to Summerleaze Beach in Bude after a report of a man being seen to enter the water fully clothed.

Police co-ordinated a detailed search involving the fire and rescue service, the Coastguard and the RNLI but have yet to locate and identify the man.

The man is believed to be approximately 40-years-old, around 6ft tall, and wearing black wellington boots and a three-quarter length overcoat.

Police are asking anyone who saw this man in or around the Summerleaze Beach area to make contact via 101@dc.police.uk or telephone 101, quoting log number 686 of 28/10/2020.
