Concern for man - Bude


Summerleaze Beach, Bude

At approximately 6:20pm on Wednesday 28 October Devon and Cornwall Police were called to Summerleaze Beach in Bude after a report of a man being seen to enter the water fully clothed.

Police co-ordinated a detailed search involving the fire and rescue service, the Coastguard and the RNLI but have yet to locate and identify the man.

The man is believed to be approximately 40-years-old, around 6ft tall, and wearing black wellington boots and a three-quarter length overcoat.

Police are asking anyone who saw this man in or around the Summerleaze Beach area to make contact via or telephone 101, quoting log number 686 of 28/10/2020.
