Brixham murder

Murder investigation ongoing

Detectives continue to conduct enquiries into the death of Mr David Williams, aged 49 from Brixham, who died after he received a serious injury following an incident on the Quay in Brixham in the early hours of Friday 29 June 2018.

On Thursday 9 August a 53-year-old man was interviewed under caution at Torquay Police Station. Following interview the man was released.

Five men from Brixham aged 21, 23, 27, 28 and 30 were previously arrested and released under investigation.

A full police investigation continues into this matter.

Anyone who witnessed the incident and anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101@dc.police.uk or call 101 quoting CR/057720/18.
