Police appealing for witnesses

Enquiries have been launched following the discovery of a body in Truro.

Police were called at 1.54pm on Saturday 18 November with reports of woman having been located in an area of open land near Trevose Road, Truro.

The 27-year-old was pronounced deceased at the scene and her next of kin have been informed.

Police are currently treating the death as unexplained and an investigation of behalf of HM Coroner has been launched. 

Officers would like to speak to anyone who was in the Trevose Road area between 1-2pm on Saturday 18 November, who may have seen anything which may assist with the enquiry.
