Police would like to find potential witness seen on CCTV walking his dog in the area

Police investigating two road traffic collisions on the same night in Looe, Cornwall, have issued an appeal for information.

They happened between midnight and 12.30am on Sunday 17 February in Church End and Quay Road.

A number of parked cars were seriously damaged and it is believed the same offending vehicle was involved in both incidents.

Its driver did not stop or report the collisions.

No-one was injured.  

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have seen either collision, or a vehicle being driven recklessly around Looe between midnight and 3am on 17 February.

Officers would also like to speak to a male seen on CCTV walking his dog on Quay Road around the time of the collisions.

The man, who is a potential witness and is in no way connected to the offending vehicle, may have seen one of the incidents. 

Members of the public are urged to come forward with any information regarding the offending vehicle or the potential witness.
