Appeal for witnesses

Police are appealing for information following reports of an assault on Vicarage Road, St Agnes.

The incident was reported to have taken place between 00:15am and 00:30am on Sunday 4 August.

It was reported that a man approached the victim from behind and caused injury to his head by punching and smashing a bottle over his head. 

The victim, an 18-year-old man, was taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries.

Police enquires continue at this time.

Anyone who witnessed the incident and anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting CR/070140/19.
