Road traffic collision, Exeter


A male cyclist suffered life-threatening injuries

At around 4.50pm on Friday 2 August, police received a report of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedal cyclist in an unnamed country lane in the hamlet of Netherexe, Exeter.

The male cyclist was taken to hospital by air ambulance with life-threatening injuries. No other vehicles are believed to be involved. The driver of the vehicle was uninjured.

The road was closed to allow a full and thorough investigation by collison investigators.

Enquires are ongoing.
