Public urged to remain vigilant after Manchester attack

As part of the ongoing investigations into the terrorist incident in Manchester on Monday night, the Prime Minister has announced that the independent Joint Terrorism Analysis Centre (JTAC) have raised the UK threat level from ‘severe’ to ‘critical’.  As a result of this decision Operation Temperer will now be activated, alongside other established and tested plans, meaning that military personnel may now be deployed onto the streets under police command and control.

Traffic Collision, Wadebridge

Witness appeal

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision involving three cars on the A389 Washaway which is between Bodmin and Wadebridge.

The incident happened on Tuesday 16 May at approximately 6pm involving a blue Volkswagen Golf a silver Volkswagen Golf and a black Jeep.

A female and a young child from the Jeep were injured as a result of the collision and were taken to Treliske. The driver from the blue Golf was also taken to Treliske with minor injuries.

Police are appealing for any witnesses and anyone with information is asked to contact PC Mullard of the Alliance Roads Policing Team at Bodmin Police Station.
