Appeal following report of dangerous driving, Plymouth


Incident took place on A38

Police investigating an allegation of dangerous driving in Plymouth have issued an appeal for information.

It relates to an incident on the A38 on Thursday 25 June which culminated in a collision on the Marsh Mills flyover between 4.50pm and 5pm.

This involved a grey Renault Kangoo van and a blue Vauxhall Zafira.

Both vehicles had travelled from the Totnes area to Plymouth on the A385 around 45 minutes prior to the collision.

Other vehicles may have been involved, including a red Mercedes which was travelling towards Totnes near to the A38.

A 31-year-old man from Totnes has been arrested on suspicion of driving without due care and attention, possession of a bladed article, and failing to stop after an accident.

Police are urging witnesses, or anyone with information, dashcam or mobile phone footage, to call 101, or email, quoting crime Number CR/050771/20.
