Police appeal for witnesses

Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision on Friday 16 February.

Police received reports of a collision involving a car and a cyclist at around 1.12pm on the A3075, between Tremper Bridge and Cubert cross.

The cyclist, a 75-year-old local man, sustained serious injuries and was taken to Derriford hospital by air ambulance where he remains. The driver of the Honda Jazz was uninjured.

The road was closed for three hours for the serious road traffic collisions team to attend the scene.
