Knifepoint robbery, Plymouth


Police appeal to locate the suspect who is at large

Police are currently responding to a live incident, following a knifepoint robbery in Plymouth today (11 April).

The incident took place at Dunnets Local Convenience Store on Saunders Walk, in Plymouth just before Midday when a man entered the store and threatened the shop worker with a knife.

He demanded tobacco as well attempting to gain access to the till before fleeing the store; the shop worker was unharmed.

The suspect had his face partially covered and is described as a white male, aged 18-21, skinny build, light curly hair. He was wearing a grey full zip hooded top, hood up with a black baseball cap worn underneath, black coloured jogging bottom, grey adidas trainers and carrying a large black rucksack with a white lined pattern on it. 

Police are appealing to the public to report any sightings matching the above in the Plymouth area.
