Serious injury collision, A38 Plymouth


One man seriously injured

Police were called at around 10pm on Saturday 20 July following reports of a single vehicle collision on the west bound carriageway of the A38 St Budeaux, Plymouth.

The rider of the Ducati motorcycle, a 66-year-old local man, sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision and was conveyed to Derriford Hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

Local officers as well as officers from the Roads Policing Team, and Serious Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene.

The road was closed for six hours whilst emergency services attended and investigated the scene.
