Serious collision involving pedestrian, Torquay

Police are appealing for witnesses of a collision between a pedestrian and a car in Torquay yesterday, Sunday 27 September.

Police were called to Hele Road at around 4.25pm following a report that a silver Ford Fiesta had collided with a man in the road.

The man sustained serious injuries and was taken to Torbay Hospital.

A partial, single lane closure remained in place for around three-and-a-half hours while an examination of the scene was undertaken and the vehicle recovered.

Any witnesses of the incident, including anyone with dashcam footage, is asked to contact police on 101 or via email at 101@dc.police.uk quoting log number 644, 27/9/20.
