Witness appeal after woman spat at by man

Police in Plymouth are appealing for witnesses of an altercation between a man and a woman in Stoke Village on Friday 20 March.

Between 1.30pm and 3pm, in the vicinity of the Molesworth/Devonport Junction and Ford Hill, a woman was spat at by a man.

Police would particularly like to hear from two men who came to the aid of the victim and may have information which could assist their enquiries.

The female is described as white, in her mid-20s, of average build, with dark hair. She was wearing blue jeans and a red coat.

The male is described as white, in his mid-20s, of slim build, with long fair hair in a bun.
