Police appealing for witnesses

Police have launched an investigation following an assault in a Truro nightclub that left one person with serious facial injuries.

The incident occurred between 11:30pm and midnight on Saturday 20th January inside the Vanilla nightclub, Truro.

An altercation took place and a 26-year-old local man sustained a fractured jaw and fractured eye socket which has required corrective surgery. 

Police believe there were a number of witnesses present and would like to speak to anyone who may have information that can help with enquiries.

Anyone who was present or could offer any further information about this incident is asked to contact the police on 101 or 101@DC.police.uk quoting crime reference number CR/006975/18.
