Witness appeal

Police are appealing for witnesses who were in the Britannia Pub garden on Wolseley Road in Plymouth on Saturday 21 April 2018 following an assault on an 18-year-old man.

DC Kevan Lawson said: “The incident took place between 9pm and 9.45pm in the beer garden of the pub. An 18-year-old man was assaulted and knocked to the floor in the beer garden area of the pub and required medical treatment as a result.

“The suspect is described as a white man in his 40s with grey hair and around 6ft tall with an average build. He was initially in a smart jacket which he took off before assaulting the victim. He was with a female in her 40s who had short dyed purple hair.

“There were two other couples sat in the beer garden when the assault took place. We are appealing to witnesses who may have information about the incident.”
