Police launch investigation.

Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault and serious sexual assault in Plymouth.

The incident took place between 6-8pm on Tuesday 11th September on the Regent Street junction of Lipson Road.

The victim, a local man in his 30’s was approached by two men, one of which had ginger hair. The victim was struck unconscious and subjected to serious sexual assault.

Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the area during or following the attack, and may have seen something that can assist officers with their investigation.
