Appeal for witnesses

Police are appealing for witnesses after a road traffic collision in Plymouth left a motorcyclist with serious injuries.

Police were called to reports of a collision involving a motorcycle and a car, at the junction of St Levan Road and Ford Hill, soon after 9pm on Wednesday 21 April.

The motorbike rider was taken to hospital with serious injuries, which are not considered to be life threatening or life changing.

The road was closed for a short period while Roads Policing Officers completed enquiries at the scene.
