Police appeal for information

Police are appealing for information about a fire which destroyed five boats and damaged others at the boatyard opposite the Royal Albert Bridge Inn, Wolseley Road, Plymouth this morning, Thursday 17 June.

The cause of the fire, which started shortly after 3am, is being treated as deliberate.

It is believed the fire started in one boat and spread to the others.

Police would like to hear from anyone who has witnessed any suspicious activity in the area prior to the incident as well as anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage which may have captured anyone in the area around the time of the fire.

Anyone with any information which could assist police enquiries is asked to contact police on 101 or via email at quoting log 69, 17/6/21.
