Public urged to remain vigilant after Manchester attack

As part of the ongoing investigations into the terrorist incident in Manchester on Monday night, the Prime Minister has announced that the independent Joint Terrorism Analysis Centre (JTAC) have raised the UK threat level from ‘severe’ to ‘critical’.  As a result of this decision Operation Temperer will now be activated, alongside other established and tested plans, meaning that military personnel may now be deployed onto the streets under police command and control.

Man charged in investigation into disappearance of woman from Marazion


Police enquiries continuing

At 2.30pm Sunday 21 May 2017 Dean Lowe aged 32 years, from Marazion was charged with the murder of his partner Kirby Noden also aged 32 years.

He is scheduled to appear at Truro Magistrates' Court at 9.30am on Monday, 22 May 2017.

Kirby Noden had initially been treated as a high risk missing person following concerns for her welfare from her friends and relatives in the North West, on Thursday 18 May 2017.

Detectives are keen to speak to anyone who has had contact with or seen Kirby since December 2016.

Kirby has yet to be located and searches and enquiries continue to trace her.
