Burglary, Illogan, near Redruth

Appeal for information

Police investigating reports of a burglary near Redruth on Monday 19 July are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

A property in Cot Road, Illogan, was targeted between 3pm and 5.15pm, with the thieves forcing entry and taking jewellery of high value.

Among the jewellery that was stolen was

•             An 18 ct gold bracelet with a 1.6 ct diamond

•             A platinum brilliant cut 4.03 ct diamond solitaire ring

•             Platinum feather look necklace with diamonds

•             Small round crisscross platinum and diamond necklace

•             Black Rado analog watch

Although the property is in a rural location, it is on a busy road and officers are appealing for anyone to come forward who saw any unusual vehicles or people in and around the area at the time.
