Appeal for witnesses

An 81-year-old man from Saltash has died after the car he was travelling in collided with a wall on St Stephens Road, Saltash, Cornwall.

At approximately 4.30pm on Saturday 3 March 2018, a silver Peugeot multi-purpose vehicle was travelling towards Fore Street in an Easterly direction when it veered across the central line and left the road colliding with a wall.

As a result of the incident, the driver died at the scene of the collision. His next of kin were informed.

Officers from the Roads Policing Team and Serious Collision Investigation Team are appealing for witnesses to come forward via 101@dc.police.uk or by calling 101 quoting log number 521 03/03/18.
