Rory Jeffrey, 40, from Camborne is due before Bodmin Magistrates’

Police have charged a second man in connection with two robberies over the weekend.

The first incident took place on Sunday 26 November at a Post Office and stores in Four Lanes, Redruth, the second a short while later at a Spar convenience store in New Road, Stithians. A vehicle believed to have been used to commit the robberies was found burnt out nearby.

Rory Jeffrey, 40, from Camborne has been charged with both robberies. He has been remanded in custody and will appear before Bodmin Magistrates’ this morning [Friday 1 December].

As previously reported, Matthew Carroll, 31, was also charged in connection with these robberies earlier this week. After an appearance at Truro Magistrates’ on Wednesday he was further remanded, and will next appear at Truro Crown Court on 19 December.
