Police are appealing for information following reports of a burglary in Tiverton.

The incident is reported to have taken place at around 3.30am on Tuesday 13 July on Gold Street.

It was reported to police that a vehicle had forced entry to Banbury’s Department Store and that a number of high-value items were taken from within.

A dark coloured Vauxhall is believed to have used in the incident and enquiries remain ongoing to locate the vehicle and two male occupants.

Police are appealing to hear from anyone with information which may assist with the investigation and anyone who may have witnessed suspicious persons or vehicle in the area during the early hours of Tuesday 13 July.
