Assault in Kingsteignton

Witnesses sought

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information following an assault in Kingsteignton.

The incident took place between 11.30pm and midnight on Saturday 31 March on Gestridge road.

The 55-year-old victim was assaulted by an unknown male offender as he walked home. He was punched in the face, causing him to fall to the floor where he further injured his head and became unconscious.

Two unknown members of the public found him on the pavement and took him home.

The offender is described as a white male in his mid 20s, around 5' 12'' tall. He is thought to have dark hair, unshaven face and was wearing dark jeans and a leather jacket.
