UPDATE: Fatal RTC. A39 Wadebridge


Police thank community for assistance in identifying deceased

Police have established the identity of the 85-year-old male who died in a collision on the A39 near Wadebridge on Tuesday 31 March.

The next-of-kin of the gentleman, who lived locally, have been informed.

Officers from the Serious Collisions Investigation Team at Bodmin would like to thank members of the local community, who despite current Covid-19 restrictions, greatly assisted in establishing the identity of the male.  

Police are requesting that anyone who may have seen a Silver Peugeot 307 in the area prior to the collision, which occurred at around 5.45pm, or have relevant DashCam or CCTV footage, to get in touch.

Anyone with any information which could assist police enquiries is asked to email or phone 101, quoting log number 578, 31/03/20.
