Woman named by police

Police are continuing to investigate the death of a 19-year-old woman in St Austell.

Emergency services were called to the property on Albert Road at around 1pm on Sunday 22 March following report of concerns for the welfare of a woman within the address.

19-year-old Hanna Knowles was sadly confirmed deceased at the scene.

Today, Hanna’s family have paid tribute to the ‘devoted mum’: “Hanna Knowles passed away peacefully at home in St Austell on 22nd March aged only 19. She was a devoted mum of Ziggy and Dylan, much loved daughter of Tracey and Rob and a dearly loved sister of Leah, Jamie and Danni. She will be greatly missed by all family and friends.”

Police enquiries remain ongoing to establish the cause of Hanna’s death.
