Fatal collision near Colyford, East Devon
Family tribute to ‘warm, kind and giving’ man
Richard Earnshaw, 33, from Honiton, tragically died in hospital following a serious collision at Heathfield Cross, near Colyton, at around 3.45pm on Sunday 11 June.
The family of Richard have made the following tribute: “The sudden and unexpected loss of Rich has been extremely difficult to comprehend and come to terms with. He was such a warm, kind and giving person and has left a massive hole in all our lives and hearts. He loved all his friends and family unconditionally.
“Rich was a guy who once you met for the first time made you feel comfortable and familiar. The kind of guy you would want to share pint or 2 with! He was an integral part of his family and the glue that held us all in place. Gone within the blink of an eye but never ever forgotten. It will be hard to move on from this.
“All the messages his family have had from friends and well wishes have been incredibly moving and humbling. In these sombre times support like this restores faith in human nature and to know the love that exists out there for Rich has certainly helped to fathom his loss.
“His family have set up a crowdfunding page for any friends or well-wishers to help towards giving this ‘true gent’ the send-off he deserves. You can view the page here: www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/frank-earnshaw.”
