Appeal after assault, Plymouth

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in a Plymouth street

The incident happened as the victim was walking along Octagon Street heading towards Kings Street at around 3.40am on 1 January. 

The victim, a man in his 20s, sustained a fractured skull as a result of the assault. 

Police are investigating and appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them.
