Man charged with attempted murder, Exeter


Suspect appears before magistrates

A 22-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder in connection with an alleged assault on a woman at a property in Exeter.

Police were called to and address in Pennsylvania Road at around 8.40pm on Sunday 1 December.

Officers found a woman, aged in her 20s, at the scene with stab wounds. She was taken to hospital with injuries which are described as serious but not life-threatening.

Conrad Karol Kurp, of Pennsylvania Road, Exeter, has been charged with attempted murder and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.  

Kurp appeared at Exeter Magistrates' Court today (Tuesday 3 December).

He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Exeter Crown Court on 12 December.
