Family heartbroken at the loss of a dear son and brother

The family of Rory Cattermole whose body was found in Longdown, near Exeter recently have paid tribute.

20-year-old Rory was last seen leaving Fever Boutique on Mary Arches Street in Exeter in the early hours of Tuesday 13 February. Police and The Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team located his body two days later.

The police are not treating Rory’s death as suspicious and a file is to be prepared for the coroner. Formal identification has now taken place and his family have paid the following tribute:

“We are heartbroken at the loss of our dear son and brother, Rory. He brought great happiness and joy to our lives, and we now realise how much he touched the lives of many others too.

“We will miss him desperately, and are devastated that he will not be able to realise all his hopes and dreams.”

The family has asked for privacy at this difficult time.
