Fatal collision, A390 Probus

On Tuesday 10 September 2019 at around 10.30am, Police were called to reported of a two vehicle road traffic collision at the junction of the B3275 and the A390 near Probus in Cornwall.  

68-year-old Shirley Frost, from Truro, was the driver of a blue Volvo. She was treated at the scene by Paramedics and Air Ambulance staff but was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.

The second vehicle, a silver Mercedes ML270 contained thee people who all sustained minor injuries.

Officers from the Roads Policing Team and Forensic Collision Investigators also attended and the road was closed for several hours whilst a specialist examination took place.

Police would like to thank the public for their patience during the closure while the scene was investigated.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or may have been in the area at the time or have any dashcam footage are asked to contact 101, quoting log number 248 of 10/09/19.
